Day 14 – Moab, Utah

This morning I took the picture below while setting in the doorway of the camper at the campground in Monticello, Utah.

We started out for our short drive (about one hour) to Moab.  Along the way we had great entertainment by way of the landscape out the windows.  Here are a few of the things we saw.

At one point we saw a sign for Wilson Arch overview.  It was our first arch and it was a large one.

That is an adult standing in the arch

At the stop there was a rock bluff with etching like features that I called galloping horses.  See if you can see them.

We pulled into OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables and set up the campers.  After resting for a while we drove into Moab to some Mexican food and pick up some supplies.  While driving around we saw the truck below – a little something for the grandsons.

The photos below are from the campground – standing beside the motorhome.

  2. Cathy - pictures just don't capture the beauty of the area. I have not posted many photos, so a sample of what we saw. Utah is really something to see. If you have never been there, then put it on your must see list. The five national parks are each so different from the others it is unreal.
