Day 25 – April 4 – Still in Vegas

We started the day with breakfast at the Peppermill restaurant – a place Dorrie and I have gone to the last two times we were in Vegas.  You need to go hungry because the servings are huge!  I had Joe’s San Francisco Special – three eggs scrambled with sausage, ground beef, peppers, and spinach served over hash brown potatoes covered with cheese sauce with a side of a blueberry muffin (could have had toast, English muffin or bagel).  I think I might have eaten a little over half.  As I said, big servings.  The place was packed with people – also normal – but the wait was worth it.

We went to Caesar’s Palace afterwards to walk off the breakfast and to see the mall and the forum show.

The show was okay, but I personally enjoyed the aquarium more than the animated characters.

On the way back to the camper we stopped at the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop (of Pawn Stars TV show fame) but the stars were not there so we didn't go into the shop.

We gambled a little and came back to the camper.  Later Dorrie and I walked over to the Walgreens store on Fremont Street – about 6-8 blocks.  I had a couple of prescriptions to pick up (I had requested refills using their app).  We walked back thru the Fremont Street mall and stopped by the Four Queens casino and lost a little bit money - seems to be a trend.
